Out & about after Nowrooz

Persian new year is here and this means a new start for all of us. No matter what our situation is,we always have a good feeling about this time of year.The best part is going for trips around Tehran;short trips that don’t need much effort to make them happen.Just think about marinating a little bit of “Jooje Kabab” to grill when you get to your destination and you’re good to go. Hit the road and listen to the latest music (this year we indulged ourselves in listening to “Bozorg, vol.2”) and snack on some “Chaghale Badoom” ( green almonds) . This stuff makes us think for a moment that we don’t have a care in the world.
on our trip to “Sangan” or as the natives say “Sangoon”,I wore a long sleeved half-top with joggers,just wanted to keep stuff really comfortable to move in.also brought a jean jacket for 2 reasons,1:they are super cool and 2: the weather isn’t stable and you don’t know what you’re gonna get when you arrive.
about my hair,I got this strange impulse to dye my hair like Miranda Priesly in The Devil Wears Prada. the results weren’t accurate though. I braided the small amount of hair I have and got really excited about the resultst. I really need (!) to wear sort of heavy eyeliner because this tone of hair and no make up makes The Typical Girl look like a pale zombie,so I went for a sort of Audrey Hepburn-ish eyeliner.The scarf is also for keeping up with the weather.
