When big changes in life occur there comes an adjustment period. No matter how awesome the change in your life is, there's going to be a time where you struggle and try to adjust to the new environment, people, situation, etc. No matter how badly you wanted this time of your life to finally arrive, getting out of your comfort zone is going to face you with some challenges. This article isn't about those challenges, it's about the phase when you have crossed that "getting used to things" hill and have somewhat adapted to your new habitat. After a while you will feel as though now you can actually focus on the stuff you came here to do, you think about improvements, about how you can make small tweaks to your routine to even make life easier and happier. It's sort of a calming and relaxing state because now you're used to your new life and sometimes do a lot of the previous difficult stuff while being on auto/pilot. Not like before though, back then you couldn't remember the street names and didn't know about the awesome places you could go for fun or the events going on in the city. Now you can go to work and school and the mall blind folded. Great! Now let's focus on making everything better, take a breath and just take it one day at a time.

My outfit, mostly red as you can see, is combined of a really warm sweater from H&M, the jeans I bought back home in Iran don't have a brand name on them, and the shoes are from "The Kooples". In a way starting a new life is like wearing a pair of high heels for the first time, It needs some getting used to and then maybe after an hour or so of wearing them you can focus on actually attempting to dance in them.
How adaptable are you with changes in your life? Do you fight the changes or just go with the flow? Tell me your story.
